Gas Natural Fenosa operates in six countries in Africa. Discover the activities it conducts in those countries.

Angola

In 2008, Gas Natural Fenosa and Repsol, in consortium with other companies, signed a shareholder's agreement to undertake an integrated gas project in Angola.

Algeria

Gas Natural Fenosa maintains commercial gas sales relations in a number of countries, including Algeria, where the Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline starts from.

Egypt

Gas Natural Fenosa participates in the Egyptian energy sector through the liquefaction plant in Damietta.

Kenya

Gas Natural Fenosa participates in the electricity generation market in Kenya through a power plant with 112 MW of installed capacity.

Morocco

Gas Natural Fenosa's activity in Morocco focus mainly on operating the Moroccan section of the Maghreb- Europe gas pipeline.

South Africa

In 2007, Gas Natural Fenosa acquired a 64% stake in the company Kangra Coal, proprietor of the Savmore coal mine in South Africa.
