Our Energy

Gas Natural Fenosa is the biggest integrated natural gas and electricity firm in Spain and Latin America. To serve the needs of its 20 million customers, the company has a diverse, balanced portfolio of businesses and energy products. The company has a competitive electricity generation mix thanks to the efficient use of the technologies at its disposal. Gas Natural Fenosa's electricity production in Spain and Latin America comes mainly from natural gas combined cycle plants, the cleanest fossil fuel plants in existence. The multinational company also has hydroelectric generators, wind farms, coal and fuel plants and has a stake in two nuclear power plants in Spain. Gas Natural Fenosa is one of the leading natural gas businesses in the world, supplying 308,600 GWh of gas in 2011. It is also one of the major liquid natural gas (LNG) operators with a fleet of 11 LNG tankers. Thanks to this activity, it is a benchmark for the Atlantic and Mediterranean where it operates 30 bcm.

Gas Natural Fenosa is the leading company for natural gas sales on the Iberian Peninsula and the biggest distributor of natural gas in Latin America.

Power generation technologies

Gas Natural Fenosa has a diverse electricity generation mix. The company ended 2011 with 15,443 MW of installed power, which last year generated 56,354 GWh.
